Theodore (Ted) Robert Oliver

OLIVER, THEODORE ROBERT (TED) – age 91, of South Knoxville, died 1:35 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, at Lifecare Center of Greeneville East. He was born Apr. 20, 1910, son of Henry Douglas and Ida Elizabeth Oliver. He was the retired owner of Oliver Office Equipment Co. and a member and deacon of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors: son, Steve Ross and wife Maureen; sister, Ruth Crisp; several nieces and nephews, including Gerald Oliver and wife Margie, Kevin Oliver, Henry Oliver, Jr., and Harriet Jordan and husband Rene; very special “family,” Mrs. Ethel Johnson and family. Family and friends will meet 10:45AM Monday at the entrance of Woodlawn Cemetery for a 11 AM graveside service and interment, with Rev. Rocky Johnson and Dr. George Hollander officiating. Friends may call at their convenience Sunday afternoon at Atchley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church “Together We Improve” fund.
