Sarah Elizabeth Thompson Tipton, age 74 of Seymour, died Thursday, December 20, 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents Pricie and Elmer Thompson; son Roger Dean Tipton and brother Gilbert Thompson. Survivors: Husband: B.J. Tipton Daughters: Betty Tipton; Annie Tipton Martin and husband Herb Grandchildren: Ashlee and Jarrett Martin Brothers: John, James and Gary Thompson Sisters: Polly Colson, Patsy Walker, Snookie Wright Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 7 PM Friday in The West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Yates officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Saturday at Chilhowee Cemetery for interment. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
