James Steven ''Steve'' Maples

James Steven (Steve) Maples, age 52 of Pigeon Forge, was called home on Friday, April 27, 2001 by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his grandson, James Cullen Morris. Survivors: Wife: Linda Atchley Maples Daughters: Tishia Morris and husband Daniel; Tara, Joy, Janel and Whitney Maples Grandchildren: Walker, Braeden and Elijah Morris Parents: James C. and Betty Maples Sisters: Connie Lewelling, Ronnie Barker A host of nieces and nephews Funeral service 5 PM Sunday at First Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge with Rev. W. W. Cope officiating. Friends will meet at 11 AM Monday at Pigeon Forge Baptist Cemetery for interment. Pallbearers will be Daniel Morris, Nathan Buice, Andrew Huff, Chad Owenby, Gene Atchley and Lynn Maples. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Barker, David Lewelling, Ralph Hodges, Gary Kimble, Danny Cartwright and Wayne Knight. The family will receive friends 2-5 PM Sunday at First Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge and friends may call at their convenience Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville
