RHODES, MRS. ELIZABETH - of Knoxville, passed away April 26, 2001 after a short illness at St. Mary's Hospital. Member of City View Baptist Church. Employed by Federal and Wade Bakery for 30 years. Preceded in death by husband, Xen D. Rhodes; sisters, Geneva Cruze and Helen Lee; niece, Ruth Lane; nephew, Charles (Buster) Dobbs Survived by son, Chris Rhodes; sister, Dorothy Dobbs; niece and husband, Betty and Ralph Floyd; nephew and wife, John D. and Carolyn Dobbs; nephew, Rick Lee; grandsons, Patrick, Colt and Caleb; great nieces and nephews, Ginger and Jim Asquith, Sharon and John Taylor, David and Patty Dobbs, Kelley and Anita Dobbs, Tracey George, and special friend, Sam Lane. Funeral service Saturday 8 p.m. at Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Sam Polson officiating. Interment 2 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, David and Kelly Dobbs, Jason Asquith, Rick Lee, Doug and Dusty Irwin, David, Paul and Russell Cochran. Memorial contributions may be made to the Youth Ministry of West Park Baptist Church, 8833 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, Tenn. 37923.
