BATES, GERALDINE LEEDY (JONES) - age 65 of West Knoxville, passed away April 15, 2001 at Holston Nursing Center. She was a member of Marble City Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, W.O. and Reba Leedy. Survived by sons, Ricci and wife, Sherri Jones, Chris Jones; daughter and son in law, Debbie and Robby Carver; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev. George Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to cancer research. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home 2300 W. Adair Dr.
