Helen Walker Cain

CAIN, HELEN WALKER - age 91, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2001, after a lingering illness. Member of Broadway Baptist Church, and owner of the former Aunt Fanny's Fudge. Past member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Beta Sigma Phi. Preceded in death by husband, "Jack" Cain; parents, Joseph and Mary Alice Baker Walker; sister, Lucille Rogers, and son-in-law, Jim Thurman. Survivors: daughter, Jackie Thurman of Knoxville; grandchildren, Kevin and Julie Thurman of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Lucylle Osburn of St. Petersburg, Fla., and many nieces and nephews. Graveside service 11 a.m. Saturday, Lynnhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Knoxville Alzheimer's Association or Mariner Health Care of Norris. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr.
