Earl Jarrett

JARRETT, EARL - of Knoxville, passed away April 6, 2001 at UT Hospital. Retired from Martin Marietta Oak Ridge after 35 years of service. Member o West Lonsdale Baptist Church., Preceded in death by parents, William and Myra Street Jarrett and 5 brothers. Survivors: wife, Nell Brackett Jarrett; son, Gary Jarrett of Greeneville, Tenn.; step children, Deke Brackett of Knoxville, Jim Brackett and wife, Gladys of Seymour, Shirley Smelcher of Knoxville; sister, Mary Garland of Roan Mountain, Tenn. and several nieces and nephews of Roan Mountain, Tenn. Funeral services 8 p.m. Saturday Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Bruce Robinson officiating. Interment 2 p.m. Sunday in Lynnhurst Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be member of the Couples Sunday school class of West Lonsdale Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home 2300 W. Adair Dr.
