FANCHER, JAMES WESLEY - age 76, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at Baptist Hospital. Member of Stonewall Baptist Church and Charles McKinney Lodge #433, York Rite and Kerbela Temple, where he volunteered with van transportation service for Crippled Childrens Hospital. Retired from U. S. Navy Seabees, with 44 years of service and a member of the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. Survivors: wife, Anna Ruth Fancher; mother, Rosa Mae Fancher; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and James Dunn of Erwin, Tenn., and Eva Louise and Ray McGinnis; grandchildren, Kimberly Jersey and husband Daniel, Jimmy Dunn, Regina McGinnis, and R. L. McGinnis; great-grandson, Tarren Jersey; sisters, Dorothy Newman of Maryland and Mary Louise Hutchins; brother, Robert Fancher; several nieces and nephews. . Funeral service 8 p.m. Friday Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel with Rev. James Dunn officiating. Interment Saturday 12 noon at Greenwood Cemetery with Military honors by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 1900 Richmond Road, Lexington, Ky. 40502.
