Cogdill, James Paul, Sr. (J.P.), age 62, of Walland, passed away at Blount Memorial Hospital Sunday, April 1, 2001. Preceded in death by parents, L.H. and Clara Brown Cogdill. Survivors:Wife: Paris Lewis Cogdill; sons, James Paul Cogdill of GA; Roy Lynn Cogdill of Walland; Grandchildren, Heather Russell, Jamie Lee and Joseph Paul Cogdill; sisters Nadine Presnell of Greenback, Wilma Haggard of Knoxville, Maxine Sizemore of LA; brothers, Gerald Cogdill of Rockford, Phillip Cogdill of White Pine; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Berry Chapel with Rev. George Gilbert and Rev. Dennis Robinson officiating.
