Paul C. 'Buddy' Scruggs

Scruggs, Paul C. "Buddy", age 62, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2000 at UT Hospital after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. He served as State Representative for 14 years and is presently Assistant Commissioner of Commerce and Insurance for the State of Tennessee. Preceded in death by his father, Paul Scruggs. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. Wife: Marilyn Scruggs The memorial service and celebration of Buddy's life will be held at Graystone Presbyterian Church Friday May 5, 2000 at 1:00 PM with a reception in the fellowship hall immediately following. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Judes Medical Center or Graystone Presbyterian Church to 1877 Cherokee Bluff Drive, Knoxville, TN 37920.
