Davis L. Simmons

Simmons, Davis L. age 83 of Halls, departed this life on Saturday, March 11, 2000 at UT Hospital. He was a member of Oakwood Primitive Baptist Church and a long time local farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard & Martha Simmons; sisters, Cornie Mink, Ola Smith, Maude Widner, Mary Myers, and Bessie Patterson. Wife of 64 years: Anna Edwards Simmons Funeral will be 8:00 P.M. Monday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Elder David Hembree and Rev. Terry Simmons officiating.
