Wilma Waugh Salmond, age 83 of Cosby, died Sunday, December 24, 2000. She was preceded in death by her son, Earl Salmond. Survivors: Husband: Bob Salmond Children: Jack Salmond, Barbara Freathy, Ron Salmond 8 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren Sister: Mary Holdaway Funeral service 11 AM Thursday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel with Rev. Donnie Hartzog officiating. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel in Pigeon Forge.
