Billy L. Kirk

Kirk, Billy L., age 69 of South Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2000 at Fort Sanders Hospital. He was a member and Deacon of Island Home Baptist Church, and a veteran of the Korean War in the U.S Navy Submarine Service. Mr. Kirk was retired from Kern's Bakery with 43 years service. Preceded in death by parents, Grover and Hazel Kirk; son, Scott A. Kirk; brother, Grover E. Kirk, Jr. Wife: Margaret Ann Kirk Funeral services 8:00 PM Friday, December 22, 2000 at Berry Chapel with Reverend Dwight Jenkins, of Island Home Baptist Church and Reverend Ray Kitts officiating. Entombment will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 23, 2000 at Highland South Cemetery, Chapman Highway. Memorials may be made to ''Moving Forward" Fund at Island Home Baptist Church.
