Amanda Allen Lindsey

Amanda Allen Lindsey, age 74 of Knoxville, died Saturday December 9, 2000 at St. Mary’s Medical Center after a brief illness. She was retired from Palm Beach Clothing Factory and a faithful member of Holston Memorial Baptist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton & Gladys Allen. Survivors: Loving & Devoted Husband of 58 years: James Lindsey Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Jewell Shults of Alabama Aileen Shearin of Sevierville Kathleen & Ben Henry of Kodak Juanita & Horace Burnette, of Florida Beulah & Lon Sutton of Sevierville Brother & Sister-in-law: Eddie & Jeannie Allen of Sevierville Sister-in-law: Anah Bowers of Seymour Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: Ray & Louise Lindsey of Florida Numerous nieces & nephews Funeral service 1 PM Monday at Holston Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Al Smith, Rev. Ronnie Beeler, & Rev. Jerry Oliver officiating. The body will lie-in-state for 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7:30 PM Sunday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
