Mary Catherine Harbison Seay Temple

Temple, Mary Catherine Harbison Seay, age 82, passed away August 30, 2000 at her home. She was a member of Second United Methodist Church for 69 years where she served choir directors Ruth Love, Wesley Rouse , and Jan Hudson as music librarian and played the piano faithfully for the Fellowship Class and Men's Eagles Bible Class, the JOY Club, and others as requested, usually on a moments notice. She worked as a book-keeper at Sterling House and retired from Volunteer State Bank. Preceded in death by parents, M.M. and Alma Harbison of Knoxville; first husband, Guyman Seay; second husband, Earl Temple; and several brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews Son & daughter-in-law: Ronald Eugene & Lisa Seay of Temple,Tx. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. prior to the service at 8:00 P.M. at Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel. Dr. Gil Smith and Rev. Gerald McFarland officiating. Memorials may be made to Second United Methodist Church Choir Fund, 1524 Western Ave., Knoxville, TN 37921. Entombment at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery.
