Elsie Lee McGill Hammond

Hammond, Elsie Lee McGill, age 93, of South Knoxville,TN passed away August 29, 2000 at Hillcrest Nursing Home. Mrs Hammond was a graduate of Knoxville General Hospital School of Nursing (1929), earning her Registered Nurse certificate in 1929 and retired from St. Mary's Hospital in 1970. She was a member of Island Home Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband of 68 years, Donald W. Hammond. The family wishes to give special thanks to family and friends of Hillcrest South Nursing Home.
