Saundra 'Sandy' Akers Biasella

Biasella, Saundra "Sandy" Akers, age 58, of Knoxville, formerly of Maryville, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2000 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center after an 18 year battle with cancer. Early in her career she was an airline stewardess with United Airlines for 8 years and for the last 10 years she has been employed by Patton Investment Company. Preceded in death by parents, Clark and Vernenna Akers. Daughter and son-in-law: Shannon and Jim Murray of Knoxville The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 7:45 PM Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Ed Cloud officiating. Because of her love for animals please make memorials to the Knox County Humane Society, 800 Millwood Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920.
