Earl Gene Scarbrough

Earl Gene Scarbrough, age 58, of South Knoxville, passed away August 12, 2000 at UT Hospital. He was caretaker of Mt. Olive Cemetery for 24 years. Preceded in death by parents Carl Edward Scarbrough and Nellie Sue Stafford Scarbrough; brother, J.C. Scarbrough. Wife of 29 years: Carolyn Scarbrough Funeral 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, Berry Chapel, Rev. Dana Fachman officiating. Interment: Mt. Olive Cemetery. Pallbearers: Eddie Holk, Chris Yarbrough, David Russell, Michael Murrell and Dennis Cunningham. The family will receive friends 7-9 P.M. Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
