Jones, Henry M. age 90, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday August 2, 2000 at Baptist Hospital. Member of Alice Bell Baptist Church. U.S. Army veteran of WWII European Theater. Retired from Cherokee Textile Mills with 43 years service. Preceded in death by brothers; Dell, Alvin, Earl, Edward, and Ben Jones; sisters, Mable, Molly, and Naomi. Wife of 64 years: Laura Walker Jones Funeral service 8:00 P.M. Saturday at Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel with Dr. Doug White officiating. Interment 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery.
