Emmaline H. Lockett

Lockett, Emmaline H., age 97, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 1999. She was born 1902 in Idols, Grainger Co., TN to Sam and Eliza Dalton Henry. She was a member of First Baptist Church since 1934 and a member of the Chapman Highway Garden Club. Family and friends will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife of Thomas W. Lockett. Mrs. Lockett was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Lockett in 1986; her parents and sisters, Edna Henry, Pauline Hansard, Virginia Bowles, Christine Hankla, Maurine Sims and brothers, Lee Eliot Henry and Glen Henry. Son: Thomas W. Lockett and wife, Betty of Knoxville Graveside service 11:30 AM Saturday, Woodlawn Cemetery with Dr. David Hull officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund of First Baptist Church, 510 West Main Street, Knoxville, TN 37902 or to the charity of one's choice. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
