Elsa McGlothin Brooks

Brooks, Elsa McGlothin, age 91, of South Knoxville, passed away Monday, November 22, 1999 at Shannondale Health Care. She was a member of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church. She was on the Board of Directors, Knoxville Women's Board of Realtors, a member of Knoxville Women's Professional Organization and active with the United Way. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Thomas Brooks; sister, Evelyn McGlothin Kinney. Sons & daughters-in-law: Kinney P. Brooks & wife, Nancy Brooks; Charles W. Brooks & wife, Candy Finley-Brooks Graveside service 12 Noon Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. David Lovelace officiating. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
