Edith E. (Patterson) Mulkey

Mulkey, Edith E. (Patterson), age 80, of Knoxville passed away November 14, 1999 at Baptist Hospital. Oldest charter member of Blount Missionary Baptist Church. Also a member of South Knoxville Order of the Eastern Star. Retired from Knoxville Scenic Studios. Preceded in death by mother and father, Rollo and Winnie Patterson; husband Charles Ben Mulkey Sr.; sister Mary Bruce; brothers Paul and Luke Patterson. Daughters and sons-in-law: Evelyn and Tony McGinnis, Carol and Hobert Hood, Rebecca Elliott, of Knoxville; Bobbie and Gene Bullock of Maryville Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 PM, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Danny Hill, Rev. Mike Shuemaker, Rev. Glenn Mulkey officiating. Pallbearers will be Robby and Gary Hood, Shane and Stacy Bullock, Chris and Jeff Mulkey. Honorary Pallbearers will be great grandsons Brad and Allan Hood. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Blount Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, Post Office Box 9545, Knoxville, Tennessee 37940. Family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
