Raleigh P. DeBord

DeBord, Raleigh P., age 74, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 1999. He was retired from TVA after 33 years of service. Member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. He was a US Marine Veteran serving during WWII in the South Pacific, a National AKC dog show judge and a coach at Pleasant Ridge Recreation Commission for many years. Preceded in death by parents, Roy T. DeBord and Gertrude McCallie; brothers, Charles DeBord and Dr. Sam DeBord. Devoted & loving wife of 54 years: Vivian DeBord Funeral service 8:00 PM Friday at Berry Chapel with Dr. James McCluskey, Rev. David Webster and Dr. Mike Boyd officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:30 AM Saturday at Berry Funeral Home and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment service. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
