Thomerson, Homer Dean, Sr., age 83, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, November 1, 1999. He was a retired Assistant Chief Claim Agent with Southern Railway Corporation after 37 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Knoxville. Former North Carolina Highway Patrol Officer. Preceded in death by parents, Frank & Mattie Thomerson. Wife: Mary Wilmoth Thomerson Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday Berry Chapel with Dr. David Hull officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
