Gerald 'Jerry' Collins

Collins, Gerald "Jerry", age 57, of Powell, formerly of Cartersville, GA, passed away Monday, March 1, 1999 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was of the Methodist faith and a Veteran of the US Army, serving in the Vietnam Conflict. Preceded in death by mother, Lonas Hawkins Collins and brother, Eugene Collins. daughter & son-in-law, Janet & John Samar; grandsons, Tyler & Jacob Samar; father, Lawrence Collins; brothers, Blaine, Clayton, J.R., & Ricky Collins; several nieces & nephews and many friends. Funeral 8:00 PM Wednesday, Berry Chapel. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
