Thomas F. 'Tommy' Carpenter

Carpenter, Thomas F. "Tommy", of Knoxville passed away Friday, June 18, 1999. He was a member of New Hopewell Baptist Church. He was the Co-Principal at South Doyle Middle School. He was formerly Principal at Rule High School, and football coach and teacher at Holston High School. Preceded in death by parents Houston and Nell Carpenter of Carthage, MS. Wife: Alice Carpenter Pallbearers will be Steve Griffin, Gary Mahoney, Gene Satterfield, Tom Duff, Eddie McLemore, Charlie Mashburn, Jerry Price. Funeral services will be held Monday, 10 AM at New Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. H. N. Key officiating. Internment will be at the New Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the New Hopewell Baptist Church Building Fund, 943 Kimberlin Heights, Knoxville, TN 37920. Family will receive friends Sunday 6 until 8 PM at New Hopewell Baptist Church.
