Helen C. Reed

Reed, Helen C., age 79, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, January 17, 1999. She was the widow of Ray Reed and a member of Forest Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Iva Jean Newton; two grandsons, R. Mark Newton, Joseph R. Newton, four great grandchildren: Amber, Laura, Harrison & Hannah Newton; sisters, Dorothy Broome, Pauline Creswell & Ernestine Reed; brothers, J.R. Caldwell, Eugene F. Caldwell, David E. Caldwell and many nieces and nephews. Funeral 2:30 PM Thursday, Berry Chapel, Rev. Joseph R. Newton & Rev. Marvin Castle officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
