William Clifford Lane

Lane, William Clifford - age 76, passed away Saturday afternoon, Jan. 16, 1999 at UT Hospital. Member of Wards Chapel Baptist Church. Retired employee of Travis Meat and Seafood Company and William S. Trimble Co. Veteran of WWII. Preceded in death by wives, Amy Barger Lane and Pearl Taylor Lane; brother, Mayford Lane. Survived by daughters and son-in-law, Renee and Dale Kinkead, Gail Taylor, all of Knoxville; sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Tammy Lane, Jefferson City, David and Kimberly Taylor, Knoxville; grandchildren, Stacy, Donnie, Christopher, Austin, Eric, David, Madison, Lacey, Heather; great-grandchild, Jackson; sister-in-law, Ruby Lane; nephews, Gary and Neal Lane; special friend, Georgia Tarwater. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. David Abernathy officiating. Graveside and military honors Tuesday 1:30 Highland Memorial South. Pallbearers: David Taylor, Tom Rubright, Randy Clabo, William Greenlee, Dale Kinkead, Gregory Crowe.
