Manning, Helen Elizabeth Fox - age 80 , of Knoxville, passed away Monday February 8 , 1999. Long time member of Stock Creek Baptist Church. Retired from Knox County Schools. Preceded in death by parents, Homer Arthur Fox and Lucy Victoria Fox; brothers, Homer Fox, Jr. and Ralph C. Fox. husband: Ralph A. Manning; son and daughter-in-law: Ray E. and Helen Manning; daughter and son-in law: Joan Hatcher Hurst and Doug Hurst; grandson: Scott Manning; granddaughter: Lora Patterson and husband Chuck Patterson; great grandson: Evan Patterson; step grandson: Morgan Hurst; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service Thursday 11:00 a.m. Stock Creek Cemetery, Rev. Gene Wood and Rev. H.N. Key officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
