Margaret Self Johnson

Johnson, Margaret Self, age 76, lifetime resident of South Knoxville, passed away Friday, February 5, 1999 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church & retired from J.C. Penney Company. Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas K. & Rachel Self; brother, Merle Self. husband of 57 years, Clyde W. Johnson; son & daughter-in-law, Wallace & Brenda Johnson, Knoxville; granddaughters, Meredith & Erin Johnson; brothers & sisters-in-law, David & Ninevah Self, James & Lida Self; sisters & brothers-in-law, Katherine & N.E. Burleson, Barbara & Vance Broyles; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Graveside service 11:00 AM Monday, Stock Creek Cemetery with Dr. George Hollander officiating. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 PM Sunday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
