Helen King Byrd

Byrd, Helen King, age 94, of South Knoxville, passed away Friday, August 13, 1999 at N.H.C. Health Care. Life long member of South Knoxville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death husband Claude R. Byrd, Sr., parents Mr. & Mrs. I.C. King, Sr., 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Sons: Claude Byrd, Jr.; Ben Byrd & daughter-in-law Joan Graveside service 1:30 PM Sunday at Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
