Dyer, Ruby Cogdill, age 80, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, April 22, 1999 at Baptist Hospital. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Edward C. Dyer; sister, Juanita Fowler; brother, Cecil Cogdill; grandson, Charles E. Cates. Daughter & son-in-law: Loretta & John L. Davis - Morristown Graveside Service 2:00 PM Saturday at Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Harry Mynatt officiating. Memorial may be made to East Tennessee Childrens Hospital, American Heart Association, or Valley Grove Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 PM Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
