Margaret Wood 'Dimple' Potts

Margaret Wood "Dimple" Potts, age 79, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday morning, October 7, 1998 at her home. Mrs. Potts was a native of Belfast, TN & a member of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church where she served as Primary Sunday School teacher and Superintendent of Vacation Bible School. Served for 30 years in South Knoxville Opti Mrs Club and was a past president. Former employee of Hal F. Burk, Attorney. Preceded in death by daughter, Melba Gail Potts Reedy. Loving husband of 45 years: G.W. "Smokey" Potts Funeral Service 8:00 PM Thursday, Berry Chapel. Rev. H. Stewart White & Rev. Robert Temple officiating. The family & friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home 10:30 AM Friday & proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for 11:00 AM graveside service. Pallbearers: David, Jim & Chris O'Connor, Billy Grinstead, Jim Hazenfield, Jim Stone. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Forest Presbyterian Church Building Fund or Hospice of East TN. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:00 PM Thursday prior to the service, Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
