Leta Welch Lewis

Lewis, Leta Welch, age 82, of South Knoxville passed away Wed. November 25,1998 3:30 PM at Brakebill Nursing Home. Preceded in death by husband Clarence Lewis; parents Robert Greenlee and Lou Isa Welch; and also six brothers and three sisters. Former employee of Eastern State Hospital. Member of Tarklin Valley Baptist Church. Daughters and son's in law: Paris and JP Cogdill; Ila and Wayne Turner Family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the employees on both the Green and Beige wings at Brakebill Nursing Home for their loving care and attention they gave mother and grandmother. Funeral service will be Saturday 7 PM at Berry Chapel. Rev.'s Dennis Robinson and Danny Hill officiating. Interment 2 PM Sunday at Tarklin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends following services until 9 PM Saturday in the Chapel at Berry Funeral Home (Chapman Highway).
