Cavender, Edith H. Phillips (Mamaw), age 97, of Knoxville, passed away at 6:45 AM Monday, November 16, 1998 at her home. Preceded in death by husbands, Glenn Balltrip, Ernest Lehue and Lewis Cavender; daughter, Thelma Miller; parents, Dan and Emily Phillips; sisters, Ethel Balltrip, Hettie Loy and Beulah Hayes; brothers, Leonard and Starling Phillips. Daughter: Retha Headrick Funeral services 8:00 PM Friday at Berry Chapel with Rev. Tommy Bellamy officiating. Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday 6 to 8 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
