Rains, Lear J., age 77, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, November 1, 1998 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Children: Robert and Nancy Taylor; Christine and Bill Price; Charles and Judy Taylor; Charlotte and Steve Heptinstall; Willie Mae and Kenny Smith; James and Cyndi Greene; Mary and Jerry Fox; Carl Henry and Tracey Rains; Edith and Sam Butcher Funeral service 8pm Monday, November 2, 1998 at Berry Chapel with Rev. Glenn Mulkey officiating. Interment 10am Tuesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
