Rose, Paul Cowan, age 72, of South Knoxville, passed away December 25, 1998 at Baptist Hospital. Member of Forest Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Retired mechanic and veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by parents Charlie and Ethel Cowan Rose. Wife of fifty years: Kathryn Rose Funeral 8:00 PM Sunday, Berry Chapel, Rev. Marvin Castle officiating. Pallbearers will be Howell Houser, Homer Perry, Darris Hawkins, Danny Johnson, Billy Monday, and Richard Koke. Honorary pallbearer Howard Hawkins. Interment 1:00 PM Monday, Highland South Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sunday at Berry Funeral Home Chapman Highway.
