Gillenwater, David A., age 88, of South Knoxville, died Thursday, December 10, 1998 at Baptist Hospital. Member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church for 53 years. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Brannan Gillenwater; son, Robert and daughter, Marjorie Clapp. Daughter: Jane McNeely Graveside service 11:00 AM Saturday, Woodlawn Cemetery. Dr. Hollie Miller officiating. Pallbearers: Grandsons. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 PM Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
