William “Bill” Conway Boruff of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, May 08, 2008. He was born April 9, 1927 in Monroe County, Tennessee to Denham and Pearl Sloan Boruff. He graduated from Sweetwater High School and Tennessee Technological University with a degree in Agronomy. He taught elementary school in Monroe County and vocational agriculture in McMinn County for four years. Clancy “C.T.” Watson, age 79 of Sevierville, went to be with the Lord at his heavenly home on Thursday, May 8, 2008. He was a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Watson was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a long time employee of the Gatlinburg Fire Department. He was also the owner/operator of C & O Cab for many years.
