Howard C. Black, age 87 of Kodak, Tennessee passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Ben Atchley Veteran’s Home. He was a Major in the United States Army Reserves, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Battle of Manila. He was active in Boy Scouts and was a Silver Beaver Award recipient. David Kirk Robertson, age 60 of Gatlinburg, passed away suddenly Saturday, February 6, 2010 at his home. He was a graduate of Gatlinburg Pittman High School. He worked as a detective for the City of Gatlinburg and was a member of the fourth Judicial Drug Task Force before retiring in 1998 due to health problems.
