temporary road closure

published: March 09 2010 09:39 AM updated:: March 09 2010 11:15 PM
     The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation will be removing Winterfest displays which will necessitate the following temporary closure of a section of Bruce Street in the downtown area, and the main entrance to the Municipal Complex.
      Bruce Street, between Forks of the River Parkway and Court Avenue, will be closed to all traffic from approximately 6:30 to 10 p.m. on March 11.  Since traffic will not be allowed on this section, the left turn lane onto Bruce Street at the intersection with Forks of the River Parkway (southbound) will also be closed.
      The main Entrance to the Municipal Complex off Gary Wade Blvd. will be closed to all traffic from approximately 8 to 11 a.m. on March 11. This closure will also necessitate the closure of the water bill drop box.
     City Hall, Community Center, Civic Center and Chamber of Commerce customers may access these buildings by using the entrance off Gary Wade Blvd. located just to the north of the main entrance. Police Department customers may access the building by using the entrance off Gary Wade Blvd. located just south of the main entrance.
