Sevierville, TN  September 23, 2009—Sevier County NEST Foundation, Inc is a non-profit corporation dedicated to increasing homeownership in Sevier County by providing education to potential home buyers on the Federal $8000 Tax Credit . First time home buyers (defined as someone who has not owned a primary residence in the past 3 years) are eligible to receive this credit.  As the November 30, 2009 deadline approaches, NEST would like to remind home buyers to take advantage of this program.  So far, 1.4 million people nationwide have used the credit, including 37,000 in Tennessee.
