Friday afternoon wreck on Hwy 411 stopped traffic in both directions.
A woman driving towards Chapman Highway from Maryville hit an on-coming car head-on Friday afternoon during heavy traffic.
The Maryville woman told Sevier County Deputy R. Cleaveland, “I just looked down for a second and looked up and I was in the other lane.”
Both women were transported to local hospitals with unknown injuries.
The Seymour Volunteer Fire Department, Sevier County Sheriff and the Sevier County Ambulance were on the scene to assist.
