The Seymour Community Park has been vandalized again but this time the vandals left two marks. One is the identifiable graffiti on the door and the other is their images on tape plus a perfect description of their vehicle. All caught on video.
The park leaders were tired of the continuous vandals having their way with the park property so they decided to spend some money to install a video surveillance system.
It paid off.
A few days ago, four youths in an older white Toyota or Nissan, with the passenger window missing and covered with plastic was the vehicle shown on the video.
“A girl walked from the car to the building, did something here, walked back to the car, then walked back here to the building,” stated Jim Green, Vice President of the Association.
“Then the car drove around to the fence and three guys got out and walked over here to the building and did something over here then walked back with a backpack or something like that, got back in the car and drove off,” Green told the Seymour Herald.
Green said that one of them had a Black top on and another had a yellow top and one of them had a bushy head of hair.
The graffiti the vandals left on the storage door seems to be very artistic, Green surmised.
“I’m going to take a picture of this to the schools as I’m certain that someone will recognize who’s talent created this,” stated Green.
Green would like to ask anyone in the public that might recognize this art, to please contact the Seymour Herald.

Thats got to be the best description of a crime I've ever heard. Not to mention the descriptions of the kids. "A bushy head of hair."
This is classic.
Maybe the art is kinda cool as Jim Green called it "talent" and shouldn't be lumped in with the thugs doing the earlier vandalism. I'm with Hystarical, they did 'something here' and walked around and did some more 'something'
it says, "isn't your legacy more important that your life, after all, it is..eternal.
I give them an A for being brighter than most of the burnt out bulbs in school
The exact vehicle and descrpition of the people in it were driving in our subdivision. They all looked very suspicious. I did not want to stereotype anyone, but they looked like they were checking out easy targets. I commented to my husband how we needed to take note of vehicles like that we have never seen before. Sevier county police certainly are NEVER around when you need them anyway (from my personal experiences).
