fleeing suspect arrested for burglary

According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals, on Thursday March 13th at approximately 3:27PM Sevier Co. Sheriffs Deputy John Brown was on patrol on Thunder Mtn Road off of Little Cove Road when he observed a silver Honda passenger car parked at a rental cabin.

The driver of the car spotted the marked patrol unit and tried to flee the area. Officer Brown conducted a traffic stop and found burglary tools in the vehicle.

The investigation revealed that two rental cabins in the immediate area had been broken into.

The driver of the vehicle, Justin Dean Bullock, age 18 of Walland, Tn. Was charged with two counts of burglary and possession of burglary tools. Bullock was arraigned before a Magistrate and a $25,000.00 bond was set. Bullock posted bond and was released on Thursday. An April 2nd 2008 arraignment date has been set.
