An earthquake was felt in E. Tennessee that originated in Southern Illinois this Friday morning.

It was a moderate quake, which centered near the Illinois-Indiana state line, and measured 5.4 on the Richter Scale according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was felt in St Louis and far north as Chicago. People reported that buildings near the center of the quake swayed from the quake.

Some people locally said they felt shaking, but no one reported any damage or injuries, although some damage to at least one building is reported in Louisville, Kentucky, according to CNN.

Tell us about what and if you felt anything from the quake at your home or business in the comments section below.

I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I felt a gentle rolling type motion. It was weird. I didn't know what was happening and I sure didn't thing it was a earthquake.
