The students of the Seymour Eagles marching band have worked extremely hard this past year and have won many awards and accolades for their efforts.

There will be a benefit car was Saturday April 19th at the Sevier County Bank Seymour Branch from 10 AM to 2 PM.

The groups efforts include small band division sweepstakes at the Bradley classic (Cleaveland, Tn.) small band division sweepstakes At South Doyle competition, 4th place at the contest of champions (southeastern U.S. competition), USSBA Southern States Competition 1st place in group 3 band size as well as ranked number 10 in the entire nation in group 3 band size.

Their latest accolade is for the concert style of performance is a superior rating at the concert band festival held at Farragut High this past month.

This band is made up of students of our community.

However their work is not yet done. They need your help to support and let the rest of our community know about our event.

Yeah cause everyone in seymour cares. The only drummer worth anything is Nyx. She is the best drummer east of the Mississippi River. The last time i check the football team doesnt even win state and gets all the funding and you guys win everything and have carpet with piss in it. Go Chorus!
