volunteer tennessee hosts americorps grant funding

Volunteer Tennessee, a Governor-appointed commission that encourages volunteerism and community service, will be hosting a series of AmeriCorps grant information sessions from Oct. 10-19.

The purpose of the sessions is to educate potential grant applicants about the requirements and funding process for obtaining AmeriCorps grants throughout the state. Local non-profit, government, or faith-based agencies are eligible to apply for AmeriCorps funding. Space may be limited, so all attendees should register no later than Oct. 5, to ensure they receive a space at the following grant session:
