sevier county deputies capture jail escapee

Sevier County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a fugitive from Georgia at a home on Centerview Road on Tuesday night Sept. 25th at approximately 11:15PM. 

According to Sevier Co. Sheriff Ron Seals, officers arrested Cindy M. Timms age 34 after SCSD officers received information that Timms was wanted in Hall Co. Georgia for jail escape.

According to the warrant issued in Georgia, Timms was serving a sentence at the Hall Co. Jail and was on a work release program. It continues that she failed to return to jail on or about June 16th 2007.

Sevier Co Sheriffs Officers responded to the home on Centerview Rd. where they located Timms at which time she was arrested without incident.

Timms is currently in the Sevier Co. Jail after being charged with fugitive from justice and is being held for Hall County Georgia.
