According to Sevier Co. Sheriff Ron Seals two Sevier County men have been charged with the burglary of a Seymour home that occurred on Tuesday Nov. 6th 2007.
The home, located at 1839 Big Buck Lane off Boyds Creek Road, was burglarized. According to the report, guns, jewelry and a TV were taken.
Sheriffs Dept. officers responded and an investigation was initiated at that time. On Wed. Nov 7th two white male subjects attempted to sell a large amount of jewelry at a Pigeon Forge jewelry store and the jewelry store contacted the Pigeon Forge Police to alert them. PFPD officers along with Sevier Co. Sheriffs Det. Jeff Manis went to the location where it was determined that the jewelry the suspects were trying to sell was the jewelry taken from the home on Big Buck Lane on Tuesday.
Det. Manis charged Michael Anthony Sunderland age 35 of 308 Caton Rd. Sevierville and Richard Lynn Arwood age 32 of 3343 Bradford Way Pigeon Forge with Aggravated Burglary.
Sunderland was also charged with possession of marijuana.
Both were arraigned before a magistrate and a $10,000.00 bond was set for both men. Both are scheduled to appear in Sevier Co. General Sessions Court on Dec. 3rd 2007.
The investigation is continuing at this time and more arrest may be forthcoming.
