Pellissippi State hosts Financial Aid Day April 9

Need help in determining whether you may qualify for financial aid? Have questions about the loan or scholarship you’re already receiving? Want to learn the ins and outs of applying for assistance? Financial Aid Day, sponsored by Pellissippi State Technical Community College on April 9, is the place to get answers. Information will be available on many topics including work study programs, Pell grants and Hope scholarships. The event will take place 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. in the Student Lounge of the Goins Administration Building, located at the Pellissippi Campus on Hardin Valley Road. Participants are invited to drop-in at their convenience during the day. For Pellissippi State students who already receive assistance, Financial Aid Day is a great opportunity to stop by and make sure their information has been processed and their funds are ready to be disbursed for summer and fall semesters. For students who are thinking of enrolling at Pellissippi State, the event is an ideal environment to learn what assistance is available and talk one on one with a financial aid advisor.
